Providing you the “edge” in technologies and human talent.
Headquartered in Alliance, Ohio, Trilogy Plastics provides you the capabilities of one of the most modern rotomolding plants in the industry. We are U.S.-based but internationally-recognized for our extraordinary service and our continuously-positive results. We have been certified to the ISO 9001:2015 quality standard and pride ourselves on our history of proven continuous improvement.
Designed with the principles of lean manufacturing, our efficient and state-of-the-art facility of more than 286,000 square feet helps you respond to the ever-increasing demands of your markets. Using MRP, JIT, Kanban, and an amazingly responsive workforce we have superior on-time delivery, month-after-month, and year-after-year!
We continue to invest in technology –- and always will. Our machines use the IRT technology of infrared sensors to monitor temperatures on the surface of the mold and adjust the molding cycle. Rotolog and EZ Logger uses sensors inside the mold to optimize operation. Trilogy Plastics has also added production monitoring at each machine to capture vital information on a real-time basis.
We are your “edge” in staying competitive.
Here are some of the many reasons why and how:

Human Talent
With more than 240 employees, we are located in the small Ohio town of Alliance, but with direct access to large nearby communities of professional resources. Our teams care about doing a good job and take pride in their work. We work hard to find, train and keep the best people because that is how we meet your needs. All human resource functions such as pay, personnel policies, and reviews, are fully computerized. Scheduling is achieved using a proprietary state-of-the-art program.
12 State-of-the-Art Rotational Molding Machines
Trilogy spends heavily keeping the company on the leading edge of technology. Our Ferry rotomolding machines are all run IRT controls. Machine scheduling combines our Symix ERP system with a proprietary rotational molding scheduling system. Preventative maintenance is controlled by FaciliWorks. We currently operate eleven rotomolding machines — seven at our main custom molding plant in Alliance, Ohio, built in 2005 –- and four at a nearby plant dedicated to high volume work.
Our five-station independent-arm carousel machines for the rotational molding (with each arm on a separate cart), provide a multiple-station arrangement for heating, cooling, and servicing. Each cart indexes about a center pivot post and shares a common load-bearing track. Our floor plan provides for five processes featuring an oven, pre-cool or intermediate area, cooling station, unloading area, and loading station.

CNC Routers
Trilogy Plastics brings you one of the highest ratios of routers-to-machines in the rotational business. Included in our value-add secondary and assembly operations:
- 2 Motionmaster 5-axis routers
- 1 Quintax 5-axis router
- 3 DMS 5-axis routers
Foaming
Also featured among our many value-add secondary and assembly capabilities:
- High pressure metering of polyurethane (PU) foam with maximum process control and minimal cost. Our foaming machines have closed loop controls using a high-pressure impingement mixing heads with a capacity of 45 pounds per minute.
- OMS high pressure metering machines offer the latest polyurethane dosing and mixing technology. High pressure metering machines are ideal for many applications, including insulated panels, refrigerator doors and cabinets, floatation devices and ridged back- boards.

Tooling and Fixtures
Our CAD software shortens lead times during the part design and mold building process. The software also improves communications with our toolmakers.
Trilogy Plastics' dedicated personnel maintain tooling and fixtures to ensure consistent the production of top-quality parts that meet your requirements.

Quality Assurance
Trilogy Plastics was one of the first rotomolding companies to achieve ISO registration. Our quality department has the latest measuring and test equipment and our focus is on continual improvement. We will successfully deliver to you the highest quality parts and assemblies the first time and every time. We support our world-class service with ongoing investments in equipment including Faro Arm CMM, and BYK Gardner Color Measurement Systems, in addition to many other advanced technologies. Ongoing significant investments are made to guarantee only the best in human talent including certified quality inspectors and in-house operator quality training.
Design Assistance
Trilogy Plastics offers engineering support early in the design process to ensure the most cost-effective design for the application. If Trilogy's customers are selling the best product at the lowest price, we can all grow together. Trilogy can work in most CAD formats and engineering works from the latest version of Solidworks. Trilogy Plastics either helped develop or was an early adaptor of many of the most advanced techniques in the industry including mold pressurization, transvectors, and IRT machine controls. We work closely with customers during the design process to assure parts are best suited for rotomolding. We then work with toolmakers and material suppliers to ensure the highest quality part at the lowest cost.

Secondary & Assembly
Many molders claim they have lean manufacturing, but Trilogy Plastics lives it and has for years. Our 6S and continuous improvement process delivers the highest quality and a flexible process. We provide you lean manufacturing facilities for everything from simple riveting to complex multiple part assemblies. Trilogy Plastics assemblies frequently use component bills of material with more than 50 parts and incorporate sophisticated final test procedures.
Proactive Lower Total Cost of Production
Our Engineering and design professionals can assist in efficient part design and consolidation for cost reduction
Our program management system provides quick turnaround from concept to production while relieving your internal resources for other needs. We will manage the production of tools for high quality and low costs.
