Rotomolding at Trilogy

Trilogy PlasticsToday Trilogy has one of the most modern rotomolding plants in the industry. Designed in 2005 based on the principals of lean manufacturing this efficient, state-of-the-art facility helps Trilogy to respond to the ever increasing demands of the market. Using MRP, JIT, Kanban, and an amazingly responsive workforce they have consistently exceeded 99% on-time delivery performance. Trilogy's two facilities in northeast Ohio total over 200,000 square feet with nine rotomolding machines and four CNC routers.

Trilogy specializes in rotomolding high appearance, tight tolerance parts. They like to say "we don't do fuel tanks, we don't do garbage cans and we don't do toys". Trilogy has to stay on the cutting edge of rotomolding technology to produce these types of products. With a large engineering staff, Trilogy either helped develop or was an early adaptor of many of the most advanced techniques in the industry including mold pressurization, transvectors, and IRT machine controls. Their engineering department works closely with customers during the design process to assure parts are best suited for rotomolding. They then work with toolmakers and material suppliers to insure the highest quality part at the lowest cost.

Rotomolding PlantAt Trilogy job number one has always been quality. Trilogy was one of the first rotomolding companies to achieve ISO registration. Our quality department has the latest measuring and test equipment and the focus is on continual improvement. However, in rotomolding the key to quality is dedicated people that are well trained and do the "little things" right every time. Trilogy has those people and processes. Trilogy Plastics has developed a diverse customer base by partnering with their customers in long term relationships. Primary markets include consumer, medical, industrial, heavy trucks (tier 1 supplier) and telecommunications. In many of these markets Trilogy is a virtual extension of their customer, tied to the customer's computer system, running distribution centers and shipping directly to end users.
